Silvan Rug

We recommend a non-slip underlay should always be placed under rugs. It will stop the rug slipping, create more depth underfoot and lessen wear on the rug.

It also prevents the risk of dye transfer to the under surface and helps protect timber flooring.

Treat spots and spills immediately with a damp, undyed absorbent cloth or paper towel. Use warm water. Do not soak the area. Do not use soap or detergents.

If stain remains, contact a professional rug cleaner. Do not scrub the fibres.

- Do not scrub the rug, as this may permanently damage the pile.

- Vacuum regularly using low suction.

- Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and rotate the rug regularly to promote even wear.

- Use only professional rug cleaners experienced in cleaning the rug's specific fibre composition.

- Some shedding is normal with new rugs and will gradually reduce over time.

- As each rug is handcrafted, slight variations in size and colour may occur between samples and the finished product.

We recommend treating spots and spills immediately with warm water and paper towel.
